The Minicell was designed more specifically for surface analysis experiments necessitating very small quantities of material deposition. It can be used in non standard MBE systems, or even in non MBE systems.
This very powerful, rugged, complete evaporation unit gives access to the proven design, cleanliness, purity of construction materials, reliability of MBE technology at a low cost.
The Minicell can be configured as the different models of Addon larger cells (Standard, Low Temperature, Cold lip), allowing to easily extend the variety of evaporating materials.
The high maximum operating temperature (1450°C) gives possibility to evaporate low vapor pressure elements
