QUALITY AND INNOVATION:
ADDON is an independent company entirely devoted to the creation and production of cells, sources and related equipment for epitaxial and general deposition of thin films under vacuum. Many new types of sources and MBE products which are presented in this site have been created by ADDON to either fulfil the needs of novel or special applications or offer improved efficiency and/or ease of use.

EXPERTISE:
ADDON designers, engineers and technicians have an average of more than 20 years of experience with MBE systems and cell design / construction. Combining this experience with a reliable development program and effective test and production processes specially designed for such MBE products allows ADDON to develop a dynamic partnership with it’s customers based on expertise and innovation. Many hundreds of cells and sources in use every day, all over the world, have been designed and improved by the ADDON technical team.

FACILITIES:
ADDON dedicated include a specific material cleaning area, a component assembly department, in-house machining, welding shops and a quality assurance check out.

PRODUCTS:
ADDON designs cells adapted for the many and diverse material types used in thin film crystal growth. Solid material effusion cells, cracker cells, thermal and plasma gas cracker sources have been tailored to meet the ever increasing demands for novel material synthesis and better flux reproducibility / stability.

RELIABILITY-PRODUCTION STANDARDS:
ADDON is proud that the efficiency and reliability of its products have been recognised by the major III-V epilayer producers who have chosen ADDON as an industrial supplier of heavy-duty large capacity effusion cells for use with group III, group V and dopant materials.

CUSTOMER BASE:
ADDON is the largest European manufacturer of MBE cells and related components. We sell our products to epilayer foundries, research laboratories and semiconductor manufacturers. The customer base includes Alcatel, IBM, TIT, France Telecom, Picogiga, Mitsubishi Electric, Japan Victor Co, NEC, Toyota, CEA and many Universities or public research organizations around the world.
