You must place the grill on a firm flat table. If the table can be adjusted, set the appropriate height for you. Make sure that you place the table out of the way to avoid accidents. Make sure that the gas control valve is properly locked. This ensures that the grill can only turn on when you push the right knob. This can avoid mistakes that can cause harm to you and your family.

When connecting the propane cylinder, ensure that you tighten the nozzle to avoid leakages. You can always check to see if there are any leakages using soapy water. If you see some bubbles know that your propane is leaking and switch it off immediately.

You can remove the grill cover and cooking grate. This makes it easy for you to arrange the lava rocks above the grill burner. Then, light the grill using a lighter and make sure you hold the flame an inch from the grill burner. You simply push the control button and the gas starts moving to the burner.

You can adjust the flame to desired height and always wait for the grill to heat before you place your food inside.
